Yea it was a little weird, but at the same time it didn't bother me all that much. My first time I came up, I was just helping Amy get her motorcycle home. At least he's already meet you so it won't be as weird. But yea Amy is looking forward to having you back at the house. And Hannah is getting huge!!! she grows by the second I think. Mom, Thanks for the package, hopefully you got the pic I sent you, I sent it to your email account so that you could send it to the massac county hospital that sent me two package and one included a church bulliten. If you didn't get it let me know and I'll resend it to you. Yea I got the diaper at first I thought it was a joke, but then I realized it was real, thank goodness I didn't open the bag. Theres not really much else I could think of to send, just healthy snacks, which is hard to do because nothing is really healthy for you these days. But maybe some dried fruits, and some triscuits, well its good you guys have gotten to play at least a little I haven't played in a while. But ya'll take care over there. Love ya

Hope you're doing well. Amy said you got the package we shipped from here. Just so you know it was her idea to send the dirty diaper. Cause she loves you so much I guess. She and Hannah seem to be doing well back in NC. Can't believe little Hannah is one month old today! Amy is taking her for her checkup on the 27th. I'm anxious to see how much bigger she has gotten. I think she likes to eat. Not a lot going on here. Rick and I have played a little golf but not much. Too much going on. Weather has been much better. Wish it would be like this all year. I baked some more of that friendship bread and froze it to send in your next package. I want to try and get one mailed before I leave to go back to NC. If there is anything you need/want me to include let me know. We miss you and will be glad to get you back home. Take care. We love ya.

first communion

Thanks for the pic, its a damn good one to. I appreciate all the help your giving amy over there. And since that kid is comprised of the two of us, she's gonna be stubborn and do what she wants to do, so we can only hope that is to sleep during the night time. Don't worry about the triscuits, I'm here for 7 months, plenty of time to get them out:) and I can't wait to get home!!

Amy wanted me to get some new pictures to you tonight. Hannah is growing and looking more like you every day. She kept us up last night for awhile but finally went to sleep. I'm hoping she will be sleeping through the night by the time Amy has to go back to work. Otherwise she'll be so tired. She is such a good baby and is so alert when she's awake. Sometimes she just likes to lay and kick.
We finally got your package in the mail today and then I found the triscuits left out so we'll have to put that in the next one. We'll be making bread again on Sunday so hopefully I can get a box out shortly after that.
Better get these pictures posted. We're praying for you and anxious to have you home.

But the rest of them are great, its funny that she sleeps with her arm under her head, thats usually how I sleep. Sorry no pictures posted in awhile. Amy and I are going to have something today. Got a wireless card for the laptop so now I can get both computers going on the internet. this old laptop has quirks now and then.
Everyone here is fine. Rick and I are enjoying your mom and dad's visit. My dad was here the other night and got to talking about tamales so your mom is going to show us how to make them tonight. Hopefully when you get home we can all get together like this again.
Hannah is such a charmer. Funny how she can look so much like you and then other times just like Amy. Either way she is beautiful and you'll have your work cut out for you in about 15 years or so. Amy said you both may need to be cleaning your guns when the boys come knocking. haha
Better get up and moving. Want to get those pictures posted asap.

Good morning all,
Thought I would take this time to get on here and write, I can only usually get on here in the mornings now for some reason, I guess its better than nothing though. Been here just a little over a month now, seems to have gone by fairly quick of course it always does when you look back and not forward. But hopefully soon enough this deployement will be over, as the months progress into June and July it will be as hot as hell over here, but I guess thats it for now, love ya'll

Good day in Iraq

Hey all,
So far its a good day, I've been getting to talk to Amy just about everyday its good. I've gotten to hear the baby scream a few times to. I'd much rather hear her grumbling in the back ground but I'll take a scream to. The duststorms have ceased over here for now anyway. I was playing with a stick over here pretending to be a ninja and wacked myself in the head right by my eye, it stung a little... not much else I can actually say on here. Just that so far so good the squadron is doing good, no one hurt or anything like that. Everyone give my baby kisses and hugs but don't give her oho, its spanish for I don't know what but mom can explain it to ya'll. If she does happen to come down with it let my momma work her magic with the egg trick!!
